Soulrift Walkthrough: First Unlocks

This walkthrough is the session ladder, not the first-hour habits page. Use getting started if you still miss Dash. Step 0 — Lobby, not Shuffle
Spawn in the lobby. Finish the in-game tutorial (M1, Q Dash, Z/X/C). Remap in Settings here, not mid-slam. The lobby listing maxPlayers 1 is the lobby instance. The fight place holds up to eight. Do not open Shuffle Mode until Dash is automatic. Controls, controls reference.
Step 1 — One starter, lowest tick
Pick Zephyr (110 HP, swordsman) or Cross (100 HP, lasers and grenades). Both are complete. Starters. Queue Boss Fight on the lowest loading-screen tick. Learn one slam. Beat bosses, boss difficulty.
Wiping two ticks up because a friend “farms faster” is slower Souls than a clean low tick. Public groups punish fashion picks. Stay on a starter until Baby Steps and Just Getting Started are done.
Step 2 — Bank the first 200 Souls

Fill accessory slots as soon as you have anything that is not empty. Empty slots are a hidden tax. Accessories.
Step 3 — Reviva or Sunder, not Raiden
If public groups keep going down, buy Reviva (250 Souls, 80 HP, heal + revive). If groups already live and the boss will not die, save toward Sunder (1000 Souls, 125 HP). Skipping both to stare at Raiden (4000) is how you stay on a starter and still wipe. Shop ladder: Reviva 250, Sunder 1000, Ricochet 1500, Lumina 2500, Raiden 4000 — 9250 if you buy everyone. VIP at 400 Robux is 1.5× Souls and EXP. It does not unlock Clockwork. Buy it after you already clear, not to skip Dash. Gamepasses.
Step 4 — Clockwork when the quest is realistic
Clockwork (Awakening, 90 HP) is the best quest unlock for the same reason Reviva is the best cheap shop buy: the lobby gets acceleration, immunity, and movement. Pay the fight tax; the buffs refund it. Do not start Crystal (A Tundra Menace), Nyx (Greater Heights, Blood meter), or Scar (Burning Soul) until a low tick is boring. Quest roster.
Insert Clockwork mentally between 250 and 1250 on the shop ladder. Team comps still wants a support before a second Lumina. Best characters and the tier list are role answers, not a fake DPS screenshot.
Step 5 — Raise ticks, then maybe Shuffle
Raise difficulty one tick after you can explain a telegraph out loud. Players for who you just bought. Shuffle is a third place, not a hidden tick. Use it after the kit is known. Review if you are still deciding whether this fighter is for you.
