Soulrift Quest Roster

Four fighters that cost a fight, not a shop price.

Soulrift Quest Characters

Four Soulrift characters never appear in the Souls shop: Clockwork, Crystal, Nyx, and Scar. Each is gated by a named quest. This page is the kit + quest pairing. Execution lives on quests and unlock characters. Index: Players. Shop cousins: shop roster.

Clockwork — Awakening, 90 HP

Utility support: acceleration, immunity, movement boosts for teammates. Highest group value on the tier list. Rush this quest when the fight is realistic — it is often a bigger upgrade than Ricochet. You will press buffs on windows, not pad M1. If you wanted to “main DPS,” this is still the unlock that makes your DPS friends look good. Team comps.

Crystal — A Tundra Menace, 100 HP

Ice and snow, strong AoE, short and long tools. The flexible elemental after you already have a support. 100 HP is mid-pack. Use Crystal when the boss clumps adds or stands in a pool you can freeze-fantasy — we will not invent spell names. Practice Dash first (controls).

Nyx — Greater Heights, 80 HP

Close-range daggers plus a Blood meter that fills during the fight and spends for a large hit. 80 HP means you must Dash like Reviva even though you are a DPS. Sitting on a full meter “for later” is how later never comes. Low tick until the dump is muscle memory (boss difficulty, beat bosses).

Scar — Burning Soul, 105 HP

Fire attacks that apply burn ticking damage and excel at AoE. Uptime character. If the group forces you out of range all fight, play Cross instead. 105 HP is comfortable relative to Nyx. Good partner with Sunder for double melee if Clockwork is present.

Quest nights versus shop nights

Souls quests (Baby Steps → Soulbound Champion) still matter because your friends may need Reviva while you chase Scar. Souls and XP. Do not ignore the shop for a month and then complain that public lobbies have no healer — that healer was 250 Souls.

Read the in-game quest text. We do not add unofficial “must beat unnamed boss on hard” lines. If the log specifies a difficulty, match it and no higher on the first clear.

Shuffle and accessories

You can take quest kits into Shuffle Mode after they unlock. Filling accessories before the quest fight is more important than a Shuffle victory lap. Clockwork especially wants to live; dead immunity buttons help nobody.

Codes and scripts

No promo string grants Clockwork (codes hub). Auto-kill scripts (auto boss) can bug the boss and fail the quest anyway. Finish Awakening with intended combat unless you already accepted scripts risk.

VIP (gamepasses) does not complete Greater Heights. It only speeds the Souls you might spend on a babysitter Reviva for the quest lobby.

When a fifth quest character ships, they get a heading here and a patch notes mention. Until then, four is the full quest rail.

Hosting a quest lobby without a Discord

Use Roblox party, name the quest in chat, and set difficulty to the log minimum. Assign who is on the quest character and who is on Reviva. If you wipe, change one variable: a player swap, a tick drop, or a Dash call. Do not add a fourth quest character “since we are here.” Clockwork first, then one DPS quest per night, keeps groups from tilting. Screenshot the quest text so arguments end.

Nyx Blood dumps belong on a call, not on cooldown panic. Scar burn wants a boss that stays in the puddle. Crystal ice wants a clump. Clockwork wants a slam you can predict. If your quest night has none of those, you picked the wrong week. Come back after a standard farm session instead of forcing the log.
