Soulrift Raiden

Raiden is the Soulrift shop closer. He costs 4000 Souls, sits at 110 HP, and is the character helix_works showed in Dev-log 1 while fighting Katan for Update 1.4. The shop spelling is Raiden; the voiceover also says Ryden. This page is the dedicated kit guide. Prices and cousins live on the shop roster. Index: Players. Ranks: tier list. If you opened this tab before clearing Katan on the lowest tick, close it and go to named bosses or the Katan classroom. The hook does not teach Dash. Dev-log 1 is the developer playing the fight you should already know.

What the kit actually is

Public identity: melee and ranged tools that hit hard, plus a grappling hook for movement. Kit verbs from Dev-log 1:

• Gyate — spin damage. Close-range pressure, not a “press this to skip the slam.”
• Armada — rocket / colossal cannon energy. Ranged poke so you are not glued to Sunder’s pocket.
• Grapple — the hook. A second mobility resource. It is not Dash (Q). Spend it to re-enter after a telegraph, not to panic-close into a red square.

We will not invent extra Z/X/C titles. Learn the three slots in-game, then remap in controls if Grapple sits on an awkward finger. Practice the pair hook then Dash, not hook instead of Dash.

When to buy him

Buy Raiden last among shop rows unless you already own:

1. Reviva (250) or a reliable Clockwork in the group — Reviva.
2. A cheaper damage spike (Sunder 1000 or Ricochet 1500).
3. At least one combat accessory, preferably Magic Mirror from Katan (accessories).

9250 Souls is the full shop. Raiden is 43% of that total by himself. VIP 1.5× (gamepasses) shortens the save; it does not make a naked 110 HP hybrid survive Acidux Hard. Unlock planner.

Public lobbies that “need a Raiden” usually need a healer. If chat is asking for a hook while nobody has Empathy or Bandages, buy Reviva instead.

Accessories that match the hook

Raiden already moves. Do not stack five mobility pieces.

• Magic Mirror (Katan) — Dash cooldown. Still mandatory; Grapple does not refresh Q.
• Badge Of Vanguard (300 Souls) while you farm boss uniques — melee share of the kit.
• Flame Gauntlet (Ardale) or Radiator (Acidux) for uptime damage.
• Body Armor or Metal Helm because 110 HP is Zephyr-class, not Sunder-class.
• Lightning Necklace (Stormwalk) is optional teleport-dashes, not a day-one goal.
• Skip Prosthetic Arm until you never eat Katan’s jump slash. −50% HP on a 110 pool is a clip, not a carry.

Fights that like Raiden versus fights that do not

Likes him: bosses that relocate (you hook back onto the hitbox), Katan as a classroom, Lazereth if you stop walking into fields, Seraphim once Crown exists for cooldown greedy Gyate/Armada cycles.

Punishes him: Acidux if you hook into the slam square; Cryogen if you dump Armada during vanish; Mirage if you cannot spare a finger for Bandana’s F. Beat bosses still ranks Dash above fashion.

Raise boss difficulty one tick after you can name the 50% change, not after the shop animation.

Team job

Raiden is flex: melee pressure or ranged coverage, not both at once if the lobby is missing a role. In an eight-player team comp, he is the seventh pick — after support, a dedicated melee, and a dedicated ranged. Two Raiden mains and zero Reviva is a wipe with extra grapples.

Shuffle Mode (shuffle) can hand you Raiden for a round you did not pay for. Treat that as a trial, not a reason to skip the 4000 save. Play him on the lowest tick that night.

Scripts, Reunion, and the honest close

Inf-money GUIs (combat GUI) can print the 4000. They can also ban the account the night Update 1.6 Reunion ships. This page assumes you earn Souls from quests and Souls and XP.

When 13 September 2026 lands, check the live shop before you assume Raiden got cheaper. Until the client changes, 4000 / 110 / Gyate / Armada / Grapple is the whole published kit. Confirm on Soulrift, then play Katan once more before you spend.
