Soulrift Lazereth Boss Guide

Lazereth is the second Soulrift named boss and the first fight where keeping moving is the primary skill. His lore blurb (formerly Lapis, a volunteer who became a cyborg after a failed experiment) sets the tone: he is a laser platform, not a melee dummy. The kit is missiles, radial lasers, a laser field, and sky strikes. Below 50% HP the lasers turn blue and three attacks gain variants. Drop: Body Armor (+12% damage reduction) and Laser Eye (+12% crit chance), each at Easy 25% / Hard 50%. This page is the dedicated fight. Hub: named bosses.

Moves you must name out loud

  1. Missile Attack. An exclamation mark appears over Lazereth before he launches homing missiles. Move immediately. This is the attack most likely to one-shot 80 HP characters who are standing still.
  2. Radial Laser. Lazereth fires laser beams in a circle around himself. The tell is his arm raising. Jump or move inside the inner radius.
  3. Laser Field. He creates a persistent dangerous zone of standing lasers. Do not walk through it. Wait for it to clear or position around pillars if the arena has them.
  4. Sky Laser Strike. Lasers fire from above onto the arena floor in marked positions. These are the floor circles you leave when you see them.

Below 50% — blue phase

When Lazereth drops below half health the lasers turn blue and four attacks change:

  • Missiles are faster. The exclamation mark still warns you, but the projectiles close distance faster. Start moving earlier.
  • Radial laser has three variants. The basic burst fires normally. The second variant sends relocating rings — the rings move to new positions after each blast. The third variant creates moving beams you must jump over as they sweep around the boss.
  • Laser Field stays the same mechanically but the visual change means you may perceive it as faster. It is not; your anxiety is correct.
  • Sky Laser Strike remains largely unchanged from phase one.

First-clear loop

Queue Boss Fight on the lowest tick. Bring a kit that can dodge in two planes — Zephyr dash, Cross grenade, Reviva if the lobby is learning. Watch the exclamation mark before every missile volley. Name the three attacks you can see before you start M1-pressing.

After the win: Body Armor and Laser Eye are both worth slotting. Body Armor goes on any 80–90 HP character who will see repeated hits. Laser Eye on Sunder, Lumina, or Raiden for crit stacking.

Party jobs on Lazereth

Eight players need a rotation that keeps bodies off the laser field and missiles covered for low-HP members. Reviva or Clockwork handles chip damage. Ranged characters (Cross, Ricochet, Lumina) stay at the outer ring where radial lasers have a wider safe inner zone. Melee characters time their engages for the gap between radial bursts.

Both pieces are in the A-tier of the accessory tier list. Magic Mirror from Katan should already be in slot 1 before you arrive.

What Lazereth teaches

  • Moving without a telegraph is a habit, not a decision. Learn it here.
  • Blue phase does not add attacks — it changes four you already know. Watch for the color shift.
  • The exclamation mark is your first word. Everything else follows.

Scripts that skip phases are documented on scripts. When Update 1.6 Reunion adds a boss or retunes rates, this page updates after the shop and boss select confirm the changes. Confirm live data in Soulrift.
