Soulrift Scar — Fire Burn DoT Specialist

Scar is a quest unlock character in Soulrift, unlocked by completing the quest Burning Soul, with 105 HP. He is the fire burn DoT specialist — the only character with a burn stacking mechanic. Role: sustained AoE damage through burn ticks, effective against bosses with extended fight times.

Scar’s identity is the fire burn specialist. His kit applies burn stacks that deal damage over time, with AoE fire effects for group content. The 105 HP pool gives him survivability above the 80 HP characters without reaching Sunder’s 125. The burn mechanic rewards sustained presence in combat — the longer the fight, the more value Scar generates.

First slot: Magic Mirror from Katan. Second slot: Badge of Vanguard (+10% melee damage). Third slot: Body Armor from Lazereth (+12% DR). Fourth slot: Flame Gauntlet from Ardale (33% burn on hit) — synergy with his own burn mechanic. Fifth slot: R Factors from Acidux (reduced DoT) — protects against burn from other sources, useful on Acidux and against bosses with fire-like mechanics.

Team comp role

Scar fits in the damage column of standard comps. He is a quest unlock, not a shop purchase — free in Souls cost but requires completing the quest. Pair with Reviva or Clockwork for support coverage. His burn is particularly effective against high-HP bosses with long phases.
